We provide a personalised service for our guests and add our own touch of luxury in the process. We tailor our service to make you as comfortable as possible during your stay with us. The following services are standard and included in the room tariff (unless you have selected a "room only" special - see details below):

Sumptuous Breakfast - we've developed a menu that should have something to tempt everyone. The freshest quality local ingredients are sourced and your breakfast is made to order.

Silver Service - breakfast is served in the Dining Room from 8:00 am till 9:30 am. It's usually a formally set table comprising of silver and antique china (your host's passion).

Complimentary Tea & Coffee - served on request at any time and usually accompanied by home baking.

Day Service - while you're away during the day, your room is serviced which includes opening the drapes, making the bed, removing trash and a general straightening of pillows, throws and the floor space.

Turn Down Service - around 7:30 pm, your room is prepared for the evening. This service includes drawing the drapes, adjusting room lighting to a low level, turning down your bed, supplying fresh water and crystal glasses for overnight and in winter, switching on your electric blanket and adjusting the heating. You'll find a sweet treat adorning your pillow once we've finished.

Complimentary Beverages - the offer of refreshments on arrival (or soon afterwards, once you're settled).

Complimentary Bath Robes - for use during your stay.

Internet - High speed broadband is available in your room.

Business Facilities - fax and printing services are available. There may be a charge for larger print jobs.

As with all our services, if there's something else you need, please don't hesitate to talk to your host. If at all possible, we try to facilitate all requests (within reason).

Seasonal "Room Only" Accommodation Specials

From time to time we offer "room only" accommodation specials. When we do, it is clearly advertised as such and is equivalent to a motel experience, except you'll enjoy a much nicer, homely and elegant environment.

A "room only" special means just that - you get the room with the linens, etc. appropriate for that room but minus all the perks included in full rate tariffs, e.g. breakfast, turn down service and complimentary bath robes are not included.

Complimentary tea and coffee is included in the tariff.

Other Services

We offer a range of additional services that are not included in the room tariff. These include:

Breakfast - for those who select a "room only" accommodation special, if you have a change of heart, the full breakfast service is available at an additional cost.
Cost: NZ$15.00 per person

Dinner - a home cooked 2 course meal. A menu selection is available in-house and a minimum of three hours notice is required to ensure adequate preparation time. A complimentary beverage is included in the price. Dinners are only offered during the off peak season (April to September)
Cost: NZ$40.00 per person

Devonshire Tea - a speciality of the house. We source our jams locally so you can taste a wee bit of Otago whilst here (prior notice is required so that the "secret" ingredient can be procured fresh :-) )
Cost: NZ$6.50 per person

Beverages - a selection of alcoholic beverages are available in-house.
Cost: NZ$ variable

Printing - costs will vary based on the print job size and requirements (colour, etc). Laser printing (in black) is available as is inkjet colour.
Cost: NZ$ variable

Spiral Binding - A4 documents can be spiral bound onsite. A limited spiral size and colour stock is held along with backing boards and acetate.
Cost: NZ$ variable

Laundry - cost is per machine load (includes drying as well).
Cost: NZ$6.00 per load

Ironing/Pressing - free if clients wish to do it themselves.
Cost: NZ$3.00 per item
